Many Short Term Rental (STR) hosts are looking for ways to reduce or avoid booking fees and offer the savings to their guests. Creating a direct booking website is a great way for hosts to feature their property, or multiple properties, while offering booking fee savings to guests.
Over the past year BWBD has designed several direct booking websites. These sites are all built on the Wix platform. While some are hesitant to buy into the Wix subscription model, the real advantage is to hosts. The Wix site editor is extremely user friendly which means hosts can make changes and updates to their site without technical assistance. This also means that BWBD only charges a design fee for the site and then it’s turned over to the host as owner and administrator. The result is dynamic direct booking websites that hosts are happy to manage on their own.
Are you a host with multiple properties or listed on multiple platforms using a Channel Manager? That’s not a problem. Most channel manager platforms offer a booking widget that can easily be added to your site and integrates your direct booking website as one more booking outlet. That means all your calendars sync, pricing is always up-to-date and any bookings from your website go directly into the channel manager platform.
